Crescent Central Station located in the heart of downtown Orlando, is the city’s first project to launch off the commuter rail station at downtown’s main Lynx bus terminal. GAI worked with the development team to create a Transit Oriented Development (TOD) that is a pedestrian-friendly environment within the density of a downtown environment. It includes an extension of bike and pedestrian trail ways, a public park, bike storage and downtown Orlando’s only off-leash, public dog park. The development consists of 279 apartments and 14, 644-square-feet of retail space in six stories of new construction completed in 2015. The team for Crescent Central Station consisted of; Winter Park Construction (General Contractor), Lord Aeck Sargent (Project Architect), and GAI Consultants (Civil Engineer).
