About Daniel Nickols:

  • An Assistant Engineering Manager working in GAI’s Orlando office, Daniel leads GAI’s Florida aviation team.
  • Daniel led the design, construction management, and inspection services for multiple airfield rehabilitation, reconstruction, and relocation projects at Flagler Executive Airport with construction costs exceeding $25 million.
  • Daniel has presented at the Florida Aviation Council conference on best practices for design and construction management at Florida General Aviation Airports, specifically the $12 million Flagler Executive Airport Runway 11-29 Relocation & Extension project, which received the FAA 2019 Southern Region General Aviation Safety Project of the Year award.
  • Dan provides continuing support to the Jewish Pavilion, Jewish Community Center, Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida, Tee it Up for the Troops, and Rotary Club of Flagler Beach; in addition, he volunteers his time to present STEM topics to local elementary, middle, and high school students.
  • Daniel holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Michigan State University and is a registered Professional Engineer in Florida, Pennsylvania, and Texas.
