Steven Miller specializes in analysis and design for electric lines and substations, and investigation and rehabilitation of existing steel and concrete structures. In the time since he began managing GAI’s Transmission Line Engineering Department in 2005, Steven has managed hundreds of transmission line projects valued at more than $100 million (engineering fees). He is intimately familiar with substation, structural, geotechnical, and grading design along with permitting, material procurement, and construction monitoring.

Steven has provided underground (HPFF, HPGF. XLPE) and overhead line design for new and existing lines, including preparation of construction documents, shop drawing review, vendor calculation review for custom steel pole, tower and h-frame structures, bill of material preparation, material procurement, and construction monitoring assistance. Steven’s project experience includes analysis and design of tower retrofits and foundation modifications.
