As Assistant Engineering Director supporting GAI’s Midwest Transportation operations, Troy brings 30 years of experience with the design, construction engineering, and management of bridge projects for state departments of transportation, local transportation authorities, and the Federal Aviation Authority. Since joining GAI in 2018, Troy has managed over 80 Indiana Department of Transportation projects, ranging from overlays and superstructure replacements to full bridge replacements. He also has served as the Major Concrete Structures Quality Reviewer for GAI’s Florida Department of Transportation projects that involve specialty concrete structures. Troy has in-depth experience working with bridge contractors on design-build projects; performing value engineering, construction engineering, and falsework designs; and has provided both post-tensioning and grouting inspection services. This experience with contractor-type work helps Troy lead GAI’s design team with the latest innovative, yet practical and constructible designs in mind.
