Jacksonville, FL—GAI Consultants, Inc. (GAI) today announced that Daniel Ashworth, PLA, ASLA, AICP has joined the firm’s Community Solutions Group (CSG) as a Senior Landscape Architecture Manager. Mr. Ashworth will tap his wealth of experience in planning and design for parks, trails, streetscapes, institutions, and private developments to serve GAI’s new and existing clients from the firm’s Jacksonville office.

• Daniel’s professional interests include urban design, planting design site planning, parks and public spaces, trails and greenways, and multimodal & active transportation planning and design.
• He is a registered Professional Landscape Architect in Florida, Alabama, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
• Daniel is also certified by the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards (CLARB).
• Daniel holds a master’s degree in landscape architecture and regional planning from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as bachelor’s degrees in both landscape architecture and landscape contracting and management from Mississippi State University.
• Daniel is active in the Jacksonville community, serving on the Springfield Preservation and Revitalization (SPAR)’s Board of Directors and formerly on the Riverfront Subcommittee for Mayor Donna Deegan’s Mayoral Transition Committees.
