Water

Water Overview

Experienced teams at GAI help utilities define and plan for the future through master planning that addresses water, wastewater, and stormwater. GAI assists clients in planning for future growth and the optimal use of existing water supplies. Water supplies and water quality are a concern to landowners. Our environmental specialists identify private water supplies, conduct water withdrawal analyses, and prepare water management plans. Our biologists and environmental scientists locate streams and wetlands that support local flora, and our environmental engineers design mitigation measures to preserve natural water flows.

GAI addresses stormwater drainage and erosion control at natural gas facility construction sites by developing control plans that mitigate potential adverse effects to the local environment. When GAI files Notice of Intent applications for our clients projects, all required erosion and sediment control and stormwater management plans are included, and construction moves forward without delay.

The scope of professional services that are provided by or offered out of each GAI office including, but not limited to, engineering and surveying services, is governed by the professional and business licensing requirements of each individual State or jurisdiction in which the GAI office is located and whether GAI has the requisite professional and business licenses for that State or jurisdiction.
