Columbus, OH—GAI Consultants, Inc. (GAI) today announced that Steven Koch, PE, MBA has joined the firm’s Ohio River Valley team as Central Ohio Market Lead. Steve brings more than 43 years of engineering consulting experience with specialties in roadway, utilities, and traffic engineering designs. Based in GAI’s Columbus, OH office, Steve will leverage his extensive multimodal experience and relationships to serve GAI’s new and existing clients in Ohio and beyond.

Steve is skilled in managing and delivering design projects involving local roads, complete street restorations, multi-use paths, and rails-to-trails. Steve is also proficient with traffic planning and design, parking studies, pedestrian and wayfinding reviews, and access studies for new developments. Steve has developed strong client and partnering relationships throughout the region that will serve to grow and expand GAI’s presence.

Steve holds an MBA from Franklin University and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Ohio Northern University. Steve is a registered Professional Engineer in Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, and Florida.
