Engineering Director/Assistant Vice President

Arica leverages nearly two decades of experience to provide GAI clients with cost-effective and innovative solutions for a range of civil and environmental engineering initiatives. Her work for GAI’s clients includes industrial water and wastewater treatment, stormwater management, acid mine drainage (AMD) treatment, coal combustion residuals (CCR) facility closure, abandoned mine land reclamation (AML), and more, as well as a comprehensive scope of regulatory and permitting support, assessment, and analysis. Arica’s expertise spans wastewater, water quality analysis, hydrologic and hydraulic computations, site grading, erosion and sediment control, and stormwater management, supported by a deep understanding of federal, state, and local permitting and regulations. She has led projects in the data center, manufacturing, power, and government business markets.

In addition to her technical leadership, Arica has served as GAI’s Pittsburgh office leader and currently serves as the firm’s Environmental Engineering Division Leader, responsible for guiding strategic growth, operational excellence, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Arica holds both MS and BS degrees in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a BA in Mathematics/Engineering from Saint Vincent College.
