Gary M. DeJidas, PE, MBA, F. GBA began his engineering career in 1972 with the Pittsburgh office of GAI Consultants, Inc. (GAI). In 1982, the firm selected him to open its first office outside of western Pennsylvania, in Orlando, FL. Starting with six employees, Gary built the GAI subsidiary into a 125-employee operation, and when all the GAI subsidiaries were consolidated into one company in 2003, Gary was elected President and CEO. Today as Chairman and CEO, Gary is responsible for overseeing the growth and strategic development of the 800-person, multidisciplinary firm with staff located in 25 GAI offices in 12 states.

Gary served as Chairperson/ Director of Terra Insurance Group—an insurance provider to the Architecture and Engineering industry—and as a Member of the SunTrust Bank (Truist) Advisory Board. Gary also served as a Trustee to his alma mater Point Park University, and is currently a Fellow with the Geoprofessional Business Association.
