Jose has more than three decades of experience leading technical teams and managing engineering initiatives that support modern electric grids with high penetration levels of Distribution Energy Resources (DERs). His background includes directing technical support and sales functions, overseeing substation engineering and design projects, contributing to distribution and electric metering operations, and planning to improve system reliability, safety, and customer satisfaction. Jose has managed major infrastructure improvements including the planning of overhead and underground capacity expansions, reliability upgrades, and has led a committee responsible for reviewing and approving system improvement projects involving new construction, reconductoring, automation, sectionalizing, and fusing.

Jose holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from San Diego State University.
