Business Sector Leader, Civil and Environmental Engineering
As the leader of GAI’s Civil and Environmental Engineering Business Sector, Joseph leverages more than 3 decades of experience to help GAI’s clients meet a range of high-priority goals. Joseph manages and oversees civil engineering and geotechnical design for electrical substations, transmission line work pads, access roads, and electrical duct bank systems. He is also proficient in an array of engineering concentrations including water resources, municipal engineering, environmental permitting, construction sequencing and scheduling, value engineering, constructability and quality assurance/control reviews, and more.
Joseph has helped clients control construction costs through value engineering and minimize operations and maintenance expenses through the development of sound, stable designs. He has earned a solid reputation as an Owner’s Engineer for multiple energy companies and his efforts have led to GAI being identified as a preferred vendor for many of these firms.
Joseph has a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
