Flagler Executive Airport Runway 11-29 Relocation and Extension Overview
Palm Coast, FL
GAI oversaw the relocation and extension of Flagler Executive Airport’s Runway 11-29. The airport’s primary runway was moved and extended to a total length of 5,500 ft, and the existing runway was reconstructed as a new, full-length, parallel taxiway. These improvements enabled corporate aircraft to take on full loads of fuel and passengers and eliminated the current nonstandard runway/taxiway separation. Other elements included new taxiway lighting, directional/guidance signage, and stormwater improvements.
