iGaive
Created in 2010, the iGaive program has evolved to streamline charity and community involvement activities across all of GAI’s office locations. To date, the program has directed employee and corporate giving to charitable organizations including Direct Relief, United Way, Make-A-Wish, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and others.
- iGaive is GAI’s corporate flag for giving—an acknowledgement of a generous and caring team spirit. This employee-driven initiative was sparked by a special class project under GAI’s Leadership Development program.
- GAI employees give from the heart year-round. Whether a “Pass it Forward” act of kindness in their immediate community, or a compassion for others wherever they may be, giving is part of our corporate culture.
- That we “make a difference” is more than client-speak at GAI—it is a vital part our corporate identity.
The iGaive program takes a two-pronged approach. With regard to corporate sponsorships and donations, the iGaive Executive Committee researches and recommends philanthropic opportunities to GAI’s Executive Committee, which selects the charitable efforts that will receive corporate-level support. For local volunteering, employees coordinate with the iGaive Executive Committee to take part in local activities including food drives, student mentoring, and other initiatives that help to improve the lives of community members.
“GAI has a corporate philosophy of encouraging a culture of giving back to the communities we serve. I’m very proud of the effort our staff made for United Way as the firm’s iGaive Charity of Choice along with all the other year-round charitable activities that have occurred!”
