Jason Duffey

Endangered Species Biologist / Sr. Project Environmental Specialist

Jason Duffey has led dozens of environmental surveys throughout the Eastern United States, primarily in the area of bat ecology. He has managed and conducted a diverse array of field studies for bats and possesses expertise in mist net and harp trap surveys, radio-telemetry surveys, acoustic monitoring, habitat assessments, and winter hibernacula surveys.

Jason’s project management experience includes coordinating and leading large field survey crews, client and agency coordination throughout project scope changes, and linking field data and report quality in difficult land access situations. He has produced a variety of Endangered Species Act (ESA) formal and informal consultation documentation including, study plans, presence/absence survey reports, habitat assessment reports, conservation, protection, and habitat mitigation plans, and ESA Section 7 biological assessments.
