Robert Turka specializes in geologic, hydrogeologic (groundwater), mining, geotechnical and site contamination evaluations based on office and field determinations. He designs and conducts site reconnaissance and subsurface investigation projects to determine soil and rock types, physical, groundwater and chemical subsurface conditions, foundation design parameters, subsidence, landslide potential, karst, and groundwater conditions.

Robert supervises, prepares, and conducts groundwater monitoring operations, groundwater assessments, geologic/hydrogeologic portions of permit applications. and provides in-house consultation for evaluating field data. He is a skilled interpreter of investigation data, determining potential or existing site problems, evaluating their severity, and recommending solutions. He has worked throughout central and eastern United States, and has been involved in projects in Thailand and Chile.
