Quest, Inc. Overview
Orange County, FL
GAI has been providing due diligence and planning, civil engineering, and landscape architecture services in support of Quest, Inc., a Florida-based not-for-profit corporation serving individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and the community. GAI has performed services for the following projects to date:
Quest Village
GAI provided civil engineering design, permitting, and construction phase services for improvements to Quest Village, a 4.7-acre, affordable housing complex consisting of 48 multi-family units and a clubhouse located in east Orange County. The site layout was developed to avoid the existing debris from a relic sinkhole. The project included upgrades to surface parking and drives, a basketball court, and a community garden.
GAI also provided stormwater management upgrades consisting of an underground chamber system. Utility engineering services included potable water and a private lift station for sanitary sewer service.
Quest Academy
GAI is providing professional engineering services for the relocation of Quest Kids Academy, a school and therapy facility operated by Quest, Inc. The Academy is being incorporated into the planned renovation of Quest’s existing three-story administration building located in downtown Orlando. The 0.75-acre site is being updated with a new playground, expanded surface parking, new sidewalks, and a retention pond for stormwater management.
GAI previously prepared a due diligence report for the site, which consisted of an entitlement analysis, concept plans, and review of site-related items (e.g., utilities, stormwater, permitting). GAI’s services for this project also include site engineering and landscape architecture design.
