GAI performed services related to a UPS serving a large commercial building and garage. The buildings included a data center and IT/telecom system in addition to other systems supported by the UPS. The UPS was nearing the end of its service life and an engineered replacement was needed to accommodate the new load requirements of the various stakeholders in the buildings.

GAI provided engineering design, including preparation of new electrical drawings, updates to existing electrical drawings, UPS bid specifications, construction administration services in the form of submittal review, request for information review, status updates, and updating record drawings. GAI also designed a floor reinforcement as the assessment report indicated that the existing slab was overstressed.
