Children’s Hospital South Tower Construction Overview
Philadelphia, PA
GAI provided construction inspection services for one of the largest and most ambitious healthcare expansion projects in the nation—a $1.1 billion, 1.2 million-sq.ft. hospital expansion that nearly doubled the size of the main campus. The South Tower building project was the first phase of development comprising a $400 million 558,000 sq.ft. facility on eight acres. GAI’s construction inspection and testing services covered soils, concrete, reinforcing steel, masonry, spray fire-resistant material, and structural steel and welded connections.
