Archer Western, de Moya Group, BCC, and GAI Win I-95 Express Lanes Design-Build Phase 3C

Orlando, FL—GAI Consultants, Inc. (GAI), together with Archer Western, The de Moya Group, and BCC Engineering, has won a design-build contract with Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Four for the Phase 3C segment of the Interstate 95 Express Lanes project in Broward County, Florida.

This critical component of South Florida’s Express Lanes Network will complete the I-95 Express Lanes system in the area by adding two lanes in each direction on I-95, as well as providing direct connections to and from I-95 Express and I-595. GAI’s design innovations will help streamline the construction process and increase overall safety—providing drivers with a safer, smoother ride on this high-speed, high-volume thoroughfare.

Construction is scheduled to begin in 2019, with anticipated completion in 2021.

With offices in Orlando, Jacksonville, Palm Beach Gardens, and Tampa, GAI builds on its more than 30-year commitment to Florida through enhanced service offerings and strategic hires.
