Artwork by Fishers Artist Jeannette Pomeroy Parssi Displayed at GAI Office

Fishers, IN—As part of its ongoing Local Seen™ program, GAI Consultants, Inc. (GAI) is currently showcasing the work of artist Jeannette Pomeroy Parssi at the firm’s Fishers office.

Featuring an ever-changing exhibition of original artworks, the Local Seen™ program partners with local arts organizations and art/design schools to support local professional and student artists by incorporating the community’s creativity into GAI’s work space. With assistance from the Fishers Arts Council, Ms. Parssi is the third artist to be featured at GAI’s Fishers location.

When she moved to Fishers just over a year ago, Ms. Parssi was delighted to see that the city was very supportive of the art community, saying, “I am thankful to both GAI and the Arts Council for this opportunity. As an artist is it important to be recognized.”

All featured artworks are available for purchase with proceeds going directly to the creators. GAI’s Fishers office previously showcased the work of James Anderson of Art from the Spirit Photography, as well as a set of original paintings by local artist and teacher, Shelley Feeney.

About the Artist: Ohio native Jeannette Pomeroy Parssi found her true calling in 1994 when she left the corporate world to pursue art. She has studied with renowned artists Graham Nickson, dean of the New York Studio School of Drawing, Painting and Sculpture; and Miraslov Antic, instructor at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. She also has traveled extensively to many locales in Europe to hone her craft, sometimes alone and other as times part of a group, but always with the goal of becoming a better artist. In an article in Palm Beacher magazine, author Joella Cain had this to say about Ms. Parssi: “She is a painter who views the world through rose-colored glasses and chooses to see the positive rather than the negative. This shows in her paintings, which exude upbeat, bright colors instead of drab, downtrodden hues.” View her work at www.jpparssi.com.
