I am excited to share with you that GAI Consultants (GAI) and Comvest Partners (Comvest) have entered into an agreement for Comvest to make a significant strategic private equity investment in GAI.

Based in West Palm Beach, FL, Comvest is a private investment firm providing capital to middle-market companies across the U.S., with a strong track record of investing in and growing businesses. GAI’s clients and staff can expect the company’s business to continue as usual following the Comvest investment—GAI will remain a stand-alone business within Comvest’s portfolio, with continuity of GAI’s management, employees, and operations; the same employees will continue to operate out of the same offices serving the same clients.

We have come to know the Comvest team well over the past year and believe Comvest is a great overall fit. GAI’s management team has been extensively involved in the transaction process—and both GAI President Anthony Morrocco and I will be on the holding company Board of Managers once the transaction is completed.

While maintaining focus on providing exemplary quality and service to GAI’s existing clients, Comvest plans to support GAI’s continued growth by providing additional capital to deepen and expand our capabilities through hiring, development, and retention initiatives, as well as through mergers and acquisition. We are confident that with Comvest’s investment, GAI will continue to provide customized service for our clients and will have the capital needed to invest in our business to better serve our clients’ growing and evolving needs.
