Florence, KY—GAI Consultants, Inc. (GAI) today announced that Scott Connor, PE, has joined the firm as a Senior Project Engineer, bringing 17 years of experience in the transportation engineering consulting industry. Mr. Connor serves GAI’s new and existing clients from the firm’s Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky office.

Highlights/Key Facts

• Scott has been involved in design projects ranging from large highway design projects for various states’ Departments of Transportation to minor roadway widenings for local municipalities.
• Over his career, Mr. Connor has developed vast knowledge in maintenance of traffic (MOT) applications to improve roadway designs for clients, lower construction costs, and produce detailed MOT plan sets that ensure accurate cost estimates.
• His significant past projects include serving as Lead Design Engineer on the North Hamilton Crossing Feasibility Study for the City of Hamilton, OH; as Maintenance of Traffic Lead Designer on the I-77 at US 30 Interchange Improvements for the Ohio Department of Transportation (DOT) in Canton, OH; and as Maintenance of Traffic Lead Designer on the I-75 Thru the Valley Project for the Ohio DOT in Cincinnati, OH.
• Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Ohio University and is a Registered Professional Engineer in Ohio and Florida.
