GAI provided designs for decommissioning and replacement of Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) units including commissioning services for the replacement equipment. As part of the design services the heat load/cooling capacity for the main data center was evaluated to determine cooling requirements.

GAI updated existing drawings for the decommissioned equipment, provided heat load calculations, and equipment specifications for the newly sized and selected units. GAI acted as project manager during commissioning of the CRAC units to include developing a commissioning plan, construction/installation/pre-functional checklists, pre-functional/pre-energization inspections, pre-verification and functional performance test scripts, a systems operation manual, training requirements and verification of training, and a warranty site visit/seasonal testing.
