Halifax River Subaqueous Water Main Crossing

Halifax River Subaqueous Water Main Crossing Overview

Daytona Beach, FL

The city of Daytona Beach was limited in transmission capacity to the beach-side customers after a failed 70-year old cast iron line failed at the river crossing.  GAI’s team of water transmission experts provided preliminary design, final design, permitting, bid support, and construction administration services a 30-inch Subaqueous water main crossing the Halifax River.  The project included approximately 4,500 linear feet of 30-inch pipeline in total.
