GAI’s process experts assisted the city of Daytona Beach in achieving compliance with nutrient removal issues in their Wastewater Treatment Facilities. To resolve an FDEP consent order for these issues, GAI evaluated both facilities and prepared a basis of design and preliminary design report that included evaluation and recommendation to achieve compliance with Total Nitrogen requirements by addition of a carbon source. Pilot testing was completed successfully and then followed by final design, bid support, and construction services for a permanent system.
