As a subconsultant to Pegasus Engineering and Environmental Research and Design, GAI provided wetland delineation; rare, threatened, and endangered species surveys; and regulatory permitting support for a nutrient reduction facility constructed alongside Soldiers Creek in Longwood, Florida. The project required modifications to an existing stormwater pond located immediately east of Soldiers Creek to provide alum chemical treatment for the purpose of reducing nutrient loads, particularly total Phosphorus, conveyed to Lake Jesup by Soldiers Creek.
