As the end of 2024 begins to come into view, I’m happy to report that GAI is enjoying considerable success and is well positioned for ongoing growth and achievement. I’d like to acknowledge the contributions of over 1,000 dedicated professionals across GAI’s family of companies and the positive corporate vision for success established by GAI’s leadership team and Board of Directors.
Bolstering Our Safety Focus
In Q3 2024, GAI took steps to further strengthen our Health & Safety program with the addition of Matthew Guard, CSP, ASP, our new Health & Safety Vice President. Building upon our robust safety protocols, Matt will support and advance GAI’s commitment to safety by coordinating the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company’s Health & Safety program to enhance its effectiveness and improve performance results.
Maintaining Consistently Positive Financial Performance
GAI is having a year of solid financial performance through Q3 2024 with a considerable number of projects in the pipeline for the remainder of the year and beyond. Bolstered by the performance of our affiliate companies Eland Engineering, PGH Petroleum & Environmental Engineers, Creighton Manning, and SPC, we expect this trend to continue based on the solid reputation we’ve earned working with our many valued clients.
Growing Our Staff, Prioritizing and Advancing Staff Satisfaction
I am proud to report that GAI has had the privilege of welcoming 294 employees so far in 2024. In consideration of a recurring GAI staff satisfaction survey, Q3 sees GAI planning and currently pursuing a range of initiatives to address potential attention areas that our staff have helped identify. Among these are initiatives for full implementation of a formal staff career path and progression program, exploring strategies to boost communication and inter-office engagement among staff and leadership, and seeking options for enhancing our staff benefits package.
Giving Back to Our Communities
GAI continues our support for Building Homes for Heroes, a nonprofit national organization that builds or modifies existing homes and gifts them, mortgage free, to injured veterans and their families, while also providing support services to enable them to build better lives. As of Q3 2024, GAI staff have donated more than $14,000 to the organization; total staff donations will be matched by GAI dollar-for-dollar up to an additional $30,000.
Look Forward to My Q4 Update
Toward the end of December, I will share an end-of-year update that presents an overview of GAI highlights for calendar year 2024. I anticipate sharing more good news, and I look forward to speaking with you then.
