Charleston, WV—GAI Consultants, Inc. (GAI) recognizes Civil Technical Leader Shaun Long, PE for his significant achievement in earning the National Design-Build Certification from the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA). To achieve designated status, Mr. Long successfully completed coursework and formal examination focused on all facets of design-build project delivery. With his new DBIA certification, Mr. Long will continue to exemplify and promote the best practices of design-build for GAI’s clients.

Mr. Long’s areas of expertise include bridge inspections, bridge design, bridge analysis, and plan preparation as well as a thorough knowledge of transportation system evaluation, transportation planning, and traffic analysis. Shaun currently serves as Transportation Director for the West Virginia American Council of Engineering. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of West Virginia, with a graduate degree in transportation and structural engineering. Shaun is based out of GAI’s Charleston, WV location.
