Tomblin releases Rock Creek strategic plan

State Journal – Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin, with a few days remaining in his term, joined his predecessor’s chief of staff Jan. 12 to talk about the development he hopes to leave as his legacy.

As Tomblin nears his finish line, he hopes Rock Creek Development Park will follow suit. He unveiled a strategic plan with GAI Consultants, which was crafted with POWER grant funds from the Appalachian Regional Commission.

GAI Consultants performed a marketing analysis and created a strategic plan “to ensure the state is taking full advantage of the opportunities at Rock Creek Development Park,” according to a news release from Tomblin’s office.
