Partnering with the Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Department and the Greenways manager, GAI aided in the examination of alternative routes to determine which would coincide best to connect the Johnny Appleseed and Shoaff parks. GAI presented options to address the crossing of Coliseum Boulevard and the St. Joseph River, which allowed the City to successfully apply for an Indiana Department of Transportation Enhancement Grant. The first link between the two parks, Phase 1-A, has been completed.
