Charleston, WV—GAI Consultants (GAI) welcomes Shaun Long, PE, Civil Technical Leader, to the firm’s West Virginia transportation group. Shaun’s areas of expertise include bridge inspections, bridge design, bridge analysis, and plan preparation. Shaun’s talent and experience will help to service GAI’s on-call West Virginia Statewide Railroad Engineering/Consulting Services contract and solidify the firm’s commitment to the West Virginia area.

• Shaun possesses a thorough knowledge of transportation system evaluation, transportation planning, and traffic analysis.
• A sampling of Shaun’s project successes in West Virginia include the Lilly Bridge, 16th Street Ramps, Coonskin Design-Build, Rodney Station Design-Build, Dick Henderson Bridge, Kanawha River Bridge, and Veterans Memorial Tie-down Retrofit.
• He currently serves as a Transportation Director for the West Virginia American Council of Engineering.
• Shaun is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of West Virginia, with a graduate degree in transportation and structural engineering.
