PE magazine talks with two GAI leaders about the multimedia communications strategy that works to establish the company’s deep and multifaceted expertise.
GAI leaders Gregory Nettuno, PE, MBA, Sr. Vice President, Infrastructure, and Leah Tuscan, Sr. Director, Corporate Communications, discuss the company’s ‘thought leadership’ communications strategy in the January/February issue of PE magazine, a publication of The National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE).
The article titled “A/E Firm Takes Thought Leadership to Next Level” examines GAI’s use of blog posts and social media to share the expertise of the company’s engineering, planning, and environmental specialists—highlighting GAI’s diverse qualifications, building trust among current and potential clients, and establishing GAI as a source for information about successful approaches to a range of challenges.
“Our people are industry leaders and problem solvers,” Nettuno says. “Our communications strategy allows our clients to make a greater connection to the people doing the work.”
Tuscan, who leads GAI’s multimedia communications effort, notes that while the company’s specialists are often modest about their work, the thought leadership approach offers readers valuable insight into the background and expertise that contribute to great results. “Their first priority is client service,” Tuscan says. “So occasionally it takes someone else pointing out that these are intriguing projects, and that they are offering innovative solutions people really want to hear about.”
