Orlando, FL—GAI Consultants, Inc. (GAI) today announced that Joel Valentin, PE has joined the firm’s Florida Construction Engineering & Inspection (CEI) Services group as a Senior Project Engineer. Mr. Valentin brings more than 18 years of experience in the field of civil engineering and construction and will serve GAI’s clients from the firm’s Orlando office.

• Joel’s significant past projects include serving as Project Engineer for the Florida Department of Transportation District 5 CEI Group 195 projects in Brevard County, FL; as Construction Oversight Senior Roadway Auditor for the I-4 Ultimate Project in Orange and Seminole County, FL; and as CEI Senior Inspector for the US 17/92 Flyover Bridge over SR 436 in Seminole County, FL.
• Joel holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Puerto Rico and is a Registered Professional Engineer in Florida.
