GAI Consultants CFO Karl Palvisak Receives “C-Level” Award—National Engineering Firm CFO Accepts Award from Orlando Business Journal

Orlando, FL—National Engineering and Environmental Consulting firm GAI Consultants, Inc. (GAI) is pleased to announce that CFO Karl Palvisak was chosen as a recipient of the 2015 Orlando Business Journal “C-Level” Awards. The annual C-Level awards celebrate Central Florida’s top CIOs, COOs, CFOs, CMOs, and CXOs of distinction.

Highlights/Key Facts

• An awards luncheon celebrating the 25 C-Level honorees will be held on July 9, 2015 at the Hilton Orlando.
• The July 10 weekly edition of Orlando Business Journal will highlight this year’s winners.
• Karl Palvisak began his career with GAI in 1992. In 2004, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer and now oversees GAI’s corporate accounting operations and staff. Palvisak is also a member of GAI’s Board of Directors, and serves as the Board’s Treasurer.
• Palvisak has been a member of the Boy Scouts of America organization since 1973 and became an Eagle Scout in 1978. He serves on the Central Florida Council Board of Directors, where he has been a member since 2002, and Treasurer since 2004. In 1983, Palvisak was bestowed the National Distinguished Service Award, Order of the Arrow by the Boy Scouts of America.
• Palvisak is an active member of University of Central Florida’s alumni, serving as the Alumni Association President in 2003 and serving on its board of directors from 1996 to 2005. He was a member of the university’s Golden Knights Club (Boosters) and UCF Foundation Boards of Directors from 2002 to 2004.
