Across GAI, we remain focused on recognizing our employees and advancing actions that help drive our long-term success. These include prioritizing workplace safety, investing in our people, strengthening our efforts to attract and develop top talent, expanding our services and geographic reach, and advancing innovation and operational efficiencies. These priorities position us to better serve our valued clients and build on the strong foundation the GAI team has established as we move through 2026. We are pleased to share this snapshot of our progress and key actions during Q1 2026.
Supporting Our People
- Investing in our staff through career development and improved training opportunities, enhanced benefits offerings, providing innovative and reliable tools, and offering flexible work options.
- Recognizing our team’s accomplishments, which include 20 GAI staff earning new professional licenses and certifications as engineers, landscape architects, surveyors, and geologists, as well as celebrating 45 promotions and progressions that highlight staff career development and better equip our professionals to provide advanced services to clients.
- Marking the graduation of our seventh company-supported GAI MBA Program cohort.
- Preparing to welcome 30+ AEC-focused college students to GAI’s 2026 Internship Program, giving emerging professionals hands-on experience and strengthening GAI’s talent pipeline.
For clients, this translates into a company that is growing in skills, service, and depth while maintaining stable project teams, strong safety performance, and consistent delivery of high-quality work.
Strengthening Our Team and Capabilities
- Sustaining strong organic growth in Q1 with the addition of 66 new professionals, bringing our workforce to nearly 1,100 employees companywide.
As we expand geographically, we’re increasing our capacity and capabilities to support a broader range of client needs throughout our service areas.
Supporting Our Communities
Supporting our community by donating to GAI’s 2025-2026 charity of choice Building Homes for Heroes. We are proud of our progress toward our goal of raising $25,000 through employee donations and fundraising events, as GAI matches contributions dollar-for-dollar.
GAI remains committed to investing in the communities where we live, work, and play through volunteer efforts, local initiatives, and GAI’s corporate giving program.
Industry Leadership, Engagement, and Collaboration
- Contributing to industry conferences, panels, and organizations across the U.S., sharing practical expertise that informs decision-makers and supports collaboration across the AEC industry.
Our thought leadership includes public-facing discussions on electric grid modernization, transportation infrastructure rehabilitation, and data center development.
Financial Performance and Sales
- Delivering strong year-over-year revenue and EBITDA growth, along with a record-level backlog of work.
These results reflect disciplined project execution, effective project and overhead cost management, close attention to project-level financial performance, and clear, consistent client communication.
Standout Project Wins
- Continued collaboration across GAI’s Power & Energy and Transportation & Infrastructure teams has garnered notable Q1 wins including work supporting data center development, renewable energy integration, major highway and bridge reconstruction, and other complex initiatives.
Our broad collective expertise has earned GAI continued success in our ability to win new work with strong sales results across our practice areas and locations.
Leadership Succession
We made several planned leadership transitions in Q1 to support continuity and long-term growth.
Creighton Manning, a GAI Company: Don Adams has been named Business Sector Leader, succeeding John Tozzi and Ed Woods, who have transitioned to advisory roles. VPs Shelly Johnston and Jeff Pangburn have also assumed expanded responsibilities.
PGH Petroleum & Environmental Engineers, a GAI Company: Sean Weissert has been named Division Leader, assuming responsibilities from Wayman Gore. Wayman will continue to support PGH as a Principal Consultant.
More to Come
Please watch for future updates as we highlight the strides we are making for our team, our company, and our clients.
