GAI provides distribution engineering services to a confidential client for various types of projects located in the southeast United States to include: automatic feeder switch installation; underground feeder replacements and new installations; riser transfers; overhead reconductor projects; pole inspection/replacement program; distribution underbuild transfer/new installation for transmission projects; system expansion; system/storm hardening; equipment replacement (fuses, switches and intellirupters); increased reliability (lateral hardening); and overhead to underground conversions. Some of the systems and softwares used on these projects are as follows: Microsoft Visio; Design Manager – Bill of Material System; Pole Foreman; and Work Management Information System.
