GAI provided full Planning, Civil Engineering, and Landscape Architecture services to HKS Architects and Orlando Health for the expansion of the ORMC general adult hospital—$550 M worth of development in the form of a new 10-story, 190+ bed, 345k SF LEED Silver patient tower and expanded level-1 trauma center ED and D&T platform. GAI supported the expansion early through master land-use, redevelopment, and infrastructure planning for the campus. Our role in the building project included detailed civil engineering and landscape architecture design, documentation, and construction-phase services. Significant features include master stormwater facilities, urban rain gardens, a therapy garden, outdoor dining, fountains, and open lawn recreation.
