GAI provided construction engineering and inspection services for roadway improvements on S.R. A1A, from the Duval/St. Johns County line to 9th Avenue North. Because A1A is a well-known and historic coastal route in Florida, it sustains a high volume of traffic, both local and tourist. GAI’s team effectively monitored traffic and lane closures to maintain high traffic flows during rush hours. Lane closures were restricted to overnight hours, resulting in an aggressive work schedule that kept the project on track.
