GAI provided services for the improvement of State Road (SR) 442, a two-lane east-west arterial roadway located in southeast Volusia County and the City of Edgewater. Extending from I-95 to U.S. 1, a distance of 3.5 miles, the western section of roadway was widened to four lanes while the eastern section was widened to five lanes. Land planning and engineering support was provided for the appraisal and eminent domain process for the acquisition of right-of-way. In addition, GAI was involved in two completed trials for this project.
