Pittsburgh, PA—GAI Consultants, Inc. (GAI) welcomes back Kevin Tan, PE, CBSI as an Engineering Manager in the firm’s growing Structures Group. With nearly 20 years of experience in structural design and analysis, Mr. Tan serves new and existing clients from GAI’s Pittsburgh office.

• Kevin’s expertise includes structural task and project management for bridge replacement and rehabilitation projects.
• He specializes in comprehensive structural design and analysis of geometric layouts on existing and new alignments; span arrangements; bridge substructure and superstructure components including truss systems and gusset plates; retaining walls; foundations; and bridge rehabilitations.
• Kevin first joined GAI in 2008, serving as a Project Engineer in the firm’s Pittsburgh office.
• He is a registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania and West Virginia, a certified Project Manager, and a PennDOT Certified Bridge Safety Inspector.
• Kevin is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Association for Bridge Construction and Design.
• Kevin holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Geneva College.
