Orlando Sentinel – Maitland’s new plan for it’s two-mile downtown strip is taking shape. Much of the design hinges on Indepence Lane, a road that runs along City Hall between Horatio and Packwood avenues.
Officials on Wednesday revealed a draft of Maitland’s downtown master plan, which was crafted by GAI Consultants Community Solutions Group and has not been updated since 2003.
Once finalized and approved, the redevelopment plan will serve as a set of guidelines for developers looking to build in downtown Maitland.
