District II Broward River Crossing Design-Build

District II Broward River Crossing Design-Build Overview

Jacksonville, FL

Teaming with TB Landmark Construction, Inc., GAI Consultants constructed a reclaimed water main crossing under the Broward River for the Jacksonville Electric Authority (JEA). This project included designing, permitting, and installing mainline via a directional drill path located 100 feet below ground surface. Consisting of 3,000 linear feet of 30‑inch high density polyethylene pipeline, the new crossing will allow for reclaimed water to be transferred from JEA’s District II wastewater treatment plant to commercial customers on the east side of the Broward River.
