Acid mine discharge was combining with water runoff on a golf course before entering the local sanitary sewer system. GAI helped develop a design for remediating the discharge and using it to irrigate the golf course. This solution reduced wet weather overflows in the combined sewer system and improved water quality in a nearby creek.
