LIFT Orlando

LIFT Orlando Overview

Orange County, FL

LIFT Orlando is a non-profit organization focused on the social, physical, and economic advancement of the “West Lakes” area of Orlando, which is generally bounded by the Orange Blossom Trail, Gore Street, John Young Parkway, and Central Boulevard.

Within this area, LIFT is particularly focused on a Focus Area that includes the “Stadium in the Garden” and “Neighborhood School for Life,” and an Area of Impact that extends to I-4 and Colonial Drive (Arlington-Callahan, Parramore, etc.).

GAI’s Community Solutions Group is providing land-use and master planning, as well as urban design and mapping/data support for this non-profit development group that is coordinating multi-party reinvestment into the area west of downtown Orlando, specifically focusing on jobs, housing, and community health in the areas around the Citrus Bowl and Orange Blossom Trail. Our team is also the prime/landscape architect for the $8 million Lake Lorna Doone Park within the study area.
