GAI’s Community Solutions Group is serving as the prime consultant for a $12M training facility for the Major League Soccer (MLS) team, the Orlando City Lions. This project builds upon GAI’s successful long-time relationship with Tavistock Development Company and their centerpiece project, Lake Nona, as well as our extensive sports facility design background. To ensure continued success of the franchise and team, the Lions have embarked on the development of a world-class training facility at Lake Nona’s Sports Innovation District. Consisting of fields and outdoor training for the MLS squad, the USL Squad, and the Lions Youth Academy, as well as a 20,000-square-foot indoor training and administration building, the project will become a cornerstone of Lake Nona’s developing Sports District. The success of MLS in the United States is undeniable, and the popularity of its latest entry, the Orlando City Lions, is among the greatest example in the league.
