GAI conducted a dam breach analysis for a water storage facility adjacent to a flood-control dam. By identifying potential failure modes and inundation zones, and calculating flood wave travel times resulting from a hypothetical breach, GAI provided valuable tools for the owner and local emergency personnel to respond effectively to a failure situation.
