GAI is providing design and construction services to the West Virginia Department of Transportation, Division of Highways for the $4.7 million replacement of the Upper Gassaway Bridge in Gassaway, West Virginia. The existing bridge carries WV 4 across the Elk River in Braxton County, located just north of the densely populated capital city of Charleston. Currently in the final design phase, the replacement bridge will drastically improve traffic flow and safety conditions for commuters and visitors alike.
