The City of St. Petersburg is working with local businesses and residents to develop a Joint Action Plan for enhancements to the 22nd Street Deuces Live Corridor and the Warehouse Arts District. Together, this emerging area represents one of the most culturally vibrant, historically significant urban areas in the entire state of Florida. The goal of the project is to develop a joint framework plan with recommendations to the streetscape, open space, branding, and wayfinding; private property enhancement; as well as programs for events, investment, and celebration of this diverse urban place. The GAI Community Solutions Group, in coordination with both Deuces Live and the Warehouse Arts District Association, has led more than 16 public involvement events to seek design input into the planning process. The results are an organized set of planning, policy, street design, and development recommendations that will leverage the full potential of the shared district.
