Pittsburgh, PA—GAI Consultants, Inc. (GAI) today announced that Joseph Rusiewicz, PE has joined the firm’s Northeast Transportation group as a Senior Engineering Manager working out of GAI’s Cranberry, PA office. Mr. Rusiewicz will tap his experience gained working for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) and various consultant firms to serve GAI’s new and existing clients.

• Joe has successfully delivered projects for clients such as PennDOT, West Virginia Department of Highways, Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, and other local, county, and state entities.
• Joe serves as Director for the American Society of Highway Engineers Pittsburgh Section and is a member of the Penn State College of Engineering Transportation Engineering and Safety Conference Steering Committee.
• He holds a master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, as well as a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from Bucknell University and is a registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania.
