In 2024, GAI further advanced our goal of growing our staff, expertise, and geographical footprint to offer an even more comprehensive service set to a wider range of clients. The acquisition of firm Creighton Manning and its multidiscipline civil engineering offerings, expanding staff throughout our companies, earning standout industry awards, improving our internal processes, and more all contributed toward making 2024 yet another successful year for GAI and the clients we serve.
Here are just some of GAI’s positive actions and achievements during 2024:
- Welcoming 170 new employees and growing our staff’s professional licenses and qualifications.
- Delivering hundreds of standout projects and earning industry awards including an ACEC Florida 2024 Outstanding Project Award for FDOT District 2, I-95 at I-10 Interchange/Fuller Warren Bridge Project and an ENR Southeast 2024 Regional Best Project in the Health Care category award for Orlando Health’s Jewett Orthopedic Institute.
- Announcing a new cohort of company officers and associates—contributors who are helping GAI achieve new heights in productivity and profitability through their work in our technical and corporate spaces.
Growing our company’s professional staff with the acquisition of Creighton Manning, a leading New York-based civil engineering firm that expands the highway and bridge design, traffic and transit services, surveying, and construction inspection expertise we can offer to our clients.- Launching our seventh Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree program class, presented through our collaborative partnership with Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA.
- Optimizing our health and safety department leadership while improving our health and safety program and procedures to help better safeguard staff and clients.
- Advancing a range of staff-identified improvement initiatives to help better our internal processes and enhance the GAI employee experience.
- Celebrating achievements and building camaraderie through in-person and virtual ONE-GAI employee events.
- Continuing our support for our corporate Charity of Choice Building Homes for Heroes through staff and matching company donations and fostering staff-driven support for a range of charitable entities through donations and volunteer work.
- Enjoying another year of financial stability and success, client and staff satisfaction, and new opportunities.
- Being personally recognized with the Engineering News Record (ENR) Southeast 2024 Legacy Award.
